Me at AU 2_edited.jpg

Hi, I'm Kimberly Payne and I was born and raised in small town known as Dadeville, Alabama. I was home-schooled Kindergarten through 12th grade. I did not attend an actual school until I went to Central Alabama Community College, more commonly known to locals as "CACC". Which  is where I received my Associate's in Science degree. CACC is where I began to have a new appreciation for teachers  and I have always loved working around kids, which is why I chose to major in Early Childhood Education at Auburn University. It has always been a dream of mine to attend and graduate from Auburn University. That dream is finally coming true as I am a Junior at Auburn University. I cannot wait to graduate so I can pursue my career as a teacher.

I have experience in teaching and working with children through helping lead Vacation Bible School at local churches, as well as helping in children's church and nursery each week. I have always felt drawn to be around children and help teach them, I believe it is my passion. I also did my pre-teaching at Dadeville Elementary School in the Kindergarten classroom and enjoyed every minute of it. I know that I am in the right place pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
